Police Visit

10 Sep Police Visit

This week at school we are discussing the British Value ‘Rule of Law’.

Today PCSO Ray Chadwick came to speak to the children about his role in the police and how he helps to look after our local area.

He showed us the important equipment he carries around with him, answered questions and told us some very interesting facts and stories about his job. He also shared with the children how to become a police officer and that continuing their studies is very important in further education if it’s a career that interests them in later life.

His key messages were that children must make sure a parent knows where they’re going at all times if they go out to play with friends to ensure they’re safe and how we can work towards being model citizens.

Thank you PCSO Chadwick – we very much enjoyed your visit!
