Dear parents,

Welcome to the last Reception Friday blog!

We have had an amazing year together and made memories to last a lifetime!

Thankyou for joining our celebration yesterday, every child gave their all and it was a very special event.

A huge thankyou from myself, Mrs Critchley and Mrs Gifford for all of the kind gifts and messages.

I have attached some challenges on an activity sheet in the files section for your child if they wish to do them over the holiday.

Spinney Project

Next week on Thursday 24th July, we will welcome volunteers who are coming to school to rejuvenate our Spinney area, which has unfortunately experienced some weather damage. We are looking for any donations to replace broken items or include new items to enhance the area for example a disco ball, wind chimes, any ornamental garden items.

The team will also need a couple of wheelbarrows for the day. If anyone living close to school has one to spare and we could borrow one for the day please could you email either the PTFA at [email protected] or Mrs Ash at [email protected]

Thank you so much for your support and we look forward to unveiling the new Spinney area in the Autumn term. Thank you also to Emma Ratcliffe (PTFA Chair) and her team of colleagues from Manchester who are coming to school for the day to support our school.

All that is left to say is have a wonderful summer and I cannot wait to see everybody 'next door' in Year 1 in September!
