Welcome back to the Year 1 Friday blog!
Reports
The annual reports have been sent home today in your child's bag. Please return the acknowledgement form to your child's teacher as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your support.
If you would like to discuss any aspect of your child's report, a drop-in session will be held in the Year 1 classroom on Wednesday 15th July from 3.30pm - 4:30pm.
Thank you for your support with home reading this year. School reading and library books have now been collected in so they can be checked ready for the new school year.
Please continue to read with your children throughout the summer. Don't forget the reading challenge at Euxton Library!
Throughout the summer the children can access spelling frame to consolidate their learning from Year 1.
We enjoyed a Teddy Bears Picnic with our friends in Reception.
Mrs Smith said the children had a wonderful time during move up morning. They are excited to start the year and see how the classroom has become 'Year 2!'
We still have a number of jumpers and cardigans in the classroom. If you are missing a jumper or a cardigan please let us know as we have a collection in the classroom. Unfortuantely they do not have names inside so we have been unable to send them home.
