Dear parents,

Welcome to the Year 1 Friday blog!

What another busy week we have had in Year 1!

In English we finished retelling the story of Meerkat Mail. 

In RE this week we had a visitor from St Michael's High School to teach us about spirituality and the awe and wonder of God's world. 

 

This week we finished making our chairs.

Then it was time to test them!

 

Spellings

This week we will quiz the children on lots of different spellings from throughout the year. 

Reading

All reading books will be collected in on Tuesday in preparation for the next academic year.

Our last show and tell of the year will be on Monday.
