PHONICS CHALLENGE

In preparation for the phonics screening check, please click on the image below and practise reading the real and alien words. 

We will be completing the Phonics Screening Check throughout next week. 

 

English

This week we have finished our work on No-Bot by writing our own stories. 

Maths

In Maths we have been practising our addition skills. 

Can you solve the challenge?

Science

We have been Super Scientists identifying trees in our school environment.

Can you identify any near your house?

Reading

Please read every night with your child. This will help them with their learning throughout the curriculum

Spellings

There are no new spellings as we prepare for the phonics screening check. The games on Spelling Frame are still available to access.

SHOW AND TELL

Show and Tell will continue on a Friday. If your child is bringing something to share, please practise what they are wanting to say at home. This will help build their confidence and oracy skills when speaking in front of others.
