We have continued our topic of Capacity and Volume. Last week, the children enjoyed estimating and measuring the capacity of various containers. During the past week, we have been looking at how much liquid is in a measuring cylinder (the volume) and have been reading scales shown on the cylinders. We have also been using the symbols for greater than, less than and equal to when comparing volumes of liquid in a variety of containers.

As part of our topic on the Church, we were all very excited to visit Euxton Parish Church on Thursday morning. The children all enjoyed completing the quiz sheet with a partner and explored the inside of the church with great enthusiasm.
