Year 5 blog 19th December

Dear Parents, 

What an amazing term we have had in Year 5! The children have worked extremely hard, and we are so proud of everything they have achieved. A huge thank you for all your support this term and for making me feel so welcome at Euxton. I have absolutely loved teaching Year 5, and I know they are going to continue shining as we move into the spring term. As a team, we really do appreciate all the lovely Christmas cards and gifts—thank you again!

We have had a lovely final week at school doing lots of fun , Christmassy activities. The children had a fantastic time at the Year 5 & 6 Christmas party, we got to see some amazing dance moves! 

The children have also completed their own stockings! They had to use the blanket stich to sew the pieces of felt together and then create their design for the front. I am sure you will agree just how fantastic they look! 

Homework 

There is no homework over Christmas except to keep reading and have a lovely rest!
