Year 6 Blog-Friday 16th May

Dear Parents,

Well it's done!  Year 6 conducted themselves exceptionally well throughout the entire week; they showed lots of resilience and took the tests in their stride.  We had lots of additional play in the sunshine, which was very well deserved!

There will be no homework this week!

New country spotlight-please bring in facts about Bulgaria for our Europe wall!

Our learning during this SATS week...

As part of our WOW day this Friday, we explored our summer production, 'Darwin Rocks!'  We split into smaller groups to rehearse scenes and also practised the songs.  The parts haven't been distributed yet, this was to get a feel for the overall story.

We have enjoyed lots of additional PE lessons in the sunshine.  We have explored how lights gets into our eyes, making excellent use of key vocabulary.
