Thank you for the returned medical forms. I have one or two still outstanding; please return this next week so I have time to input them into the Robinwood system. We are looking forward to having a great trip!

Our learning this week in Year 6

This week we have read and understood the poem 'The Highwayman' by Alfred Noyes; this has included reading the picture book and watching an animation. This has then formed a basis for our new dance in PE. Following this, we have dived into our text for this term, 'Darwin's Dragons.' This text builds on our prior learning in science, about adaptation, and also matches our production! We have completed inference work to predict what the story may be about.

RE

Our unit for this half term is 'People of Faith' and so we have begun our learning by considering what it means to have faith. Discussions around Robinwood activities, like the trapeze, help us with this.

PE

We have completed lots of PE this week. We began our dance unit by creating some excellent interpretations of the first verse from The HIghwayman. We have also enjoyed sports days practice!
